I hope you had a good weekend, ours was fabulous and I cannot thank you enough for Richard - OMG he was brilliant, his food was outstanding and he was a complete joy to have around. I don’t have a single criticism, AMAZING!!!!


Thank you so much for the introduction to Leo, who cooked up the most incredible feast last night for dinner. It was jaw dropingly good and somehow, he managed to magic it out of no where and also clear it away without any hint of being around in the first place! He is utterly delightful, wonderfully unflappable and was a complete joy to have around. His food was really VERY good (and I am a harsh critic!). A huge success - thank you.


Emma was utterly wonderful from start to stop. She completely got us, understood about what and how we liked to eat etc. We'd like her to move in with us for ever!

Alex was amazing - we can't praise him highly enough. The food was 'out of this world' and he was just so calm and charming. He had many offers of "please can you come and live with us?"The 6 course dinner on Sat evening was fabulous - better than the tasting menu at Gidleigh Park!


We had an amazing weekend, in no small measure due to Alex. He was all that I could have hoped for and more. He looked after us all perfectly. The food was utterly delicious but what I particularly loved was his speed and efficiency, his manner and courtesy and the way he kept the kitchen spotless. He did all the clearing up and laid the table. His presentation was fantastic. What a great young man. The sort that you would love as a son in law! Thanks so much for organising it.

Sam was amazing! Thank you so much! She was everything we hoped for and more! She worked so hard but never gave the impression that she was tired ( when she must have been) New Year’s Eve was a marathon and she never stopped. She was also so lovely to have around - very easy and relaxed but also extremely professional. Everything was utterly delicious and also she had such great original ideas. Nothing was too much trouble and even breakfasts were a work of art. We will definitely be booking her again. We really were more than thrilled.

THANK YOU - Ash was brilliant, the food was fabulous and we all had a fantastic time. Ash catered for all our needs effortlessly, he wasted no food and made leftovers look new! He was discreet, flexible and a very calming influence - we didn't worry about a thing. We would all love to see Ash again and if we needed a chef he would be top of the list.


I cannot thank you enough for finding Emma for us. She was without doubt the nicest girl we have ever had to cook as well as being a really brilliant one. She smiled all the time, was very patient, full of good and interesting ideas and immaculately clean, organised and tidy. She just got on and if anything needed doing offered her help..

Lucy was a huge success and an utter star and fitted in very easily in our rather cramped holiday cottage! She was incredibly organised and everything was always on time. She even managed to join us all on the beach for surfing and swimming which the family thought showed great form! She cooked delicious hearty family food from a very basic kitchen and her portion sizes were perfect, so I don't feel too grotesque after a week of 3 course suppers! She made brilliant pic-nics up for lunch and never forgot to pack the corkscrew! There was always a naughty treat waiting for tea too! Lucy is incredibly capable and never needed any prompting, she even walked the dogs for us during the day. Lucy was great fun and very capable in every way, nothing seemed to phase her and I would thoroughly recommend her. Thank you very much for finding Lucy for us.
